TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Mahoni Medan mental health hospital (RSJ) announced that it is ready to accommodate legislative candidate that fail to enter parliament in the 2019 general election.
“Some legislative candidate that does not get elected would tend to suffer from mental disorders or shock caused by a number of factors after the election ends,” said Alvin Syahrial, the Head of the Mahoni Medan mental health institution.
According to the privately-run hospital, the factors that might drive the legislative hopefuls into depression can be caused by the amount of debt that the candidates generated during the campaign process.
The hospital has prepared four VIP rooms and six Class 1 rooms specifically to accommodate and treat the depressed and failed legislative candidates. They will be monitored by dozens of doctors and nurses and will undergo treatments such as motivation programs and religious activities.
According to Alvin, the Mahoni Medan mental health hospital (RSJ) treated two inpatients who were legislative candidates in the 2014 general elections. They also treated dozens of outpatients comprising of failed legislative candidates for depression and mental disorders.
